Summer Schedule! Sunday Service @ 9:00am; Saturday Unchanged

 

6/7 Summer Schedule Starts! –Starting June 7th, Sunday services will be combined into one 9:00 AM service. Saturday services (5:00 PM) are to continue as usual.

Eucharistic Ministers & Visitors - Retreat & Training on Saturday, June 13

 

6/13 Eucharistic Ministers Retreat & Training Day  Join us for our Eucharistic Minister retreat on Saturday, June 13th, from 10 am -12 pm to learn how to assist at the altar as a Eucharistic Minister. We will also train those interested in becoming eucharistic visitors to bring communion to homebound and isolated individuals in our community. No experience required, all are welcome. Paths & Prayers on June 13 from 9:00am to 10:00am

6/13 Paths and PrayersJoin friends of Holy Trinity and the community to walk and experience the harmony of spirit and nature by stepping away from the noise of daily life and finding clarity through movement, fresh air, and prayer. Wear comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Bring water, an open heart, and a quiet mind. Let us walk, breathe, and pray together. Simmons Mill Pond in Little Compton, 9:00 – 10:00 AM.

Neighborhood BBQ - June 20 after Saturday 5:00pm Service

6/20 Neighborhood BBQ – Join us after the 5 PM service for a neighborhood BBQ! Bring a friend!

Family Church - Last Sunday of the Month

6/28 Family Church – On the last Sunday of each month, beginning June 28th, we will celebrate “Family Church”. While this monthly service is for all generations to attend, it will be designed especially for children, youth, and families, and will feature a children’s sermon, Sunday Paper Jr., and accessible music.

Blessing of the Bikes!

6/27 Blessing of the Bikes – Mark your calendars for our inaugural Blessing of the Bikes at Holy Ghost from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This tradition, where the priest blesses bikes with holy water, the biking community holds a moment of silence to remember all bikers lost in the past year, and then joyfully rings their bicycle bells in celebration of the joy of biking, has been practiced since the early 1800s. This community event is an outreach opportunity designed to bless motorcyclists at the beginning of their riding season and send them off with prayers for safety.

Coffee Hour Volunteers Needed for the summer! Please email revk@holytrinitychurch.org or sign up in the back of the church, so we can continue to feed one another and enjoy this time of fellowship.
 
The signup sheet is either in the back of the church or posted on the bulletin board in the parish hall. 
 
We celebrate members birthdays on the last Sunday of the month that they were born. This takes place during coffee hour after the 9am service in the summer.  We are looking for a volunteer each month to sponsor the cake! Contact the office or speak to Rev. K to  sign up.

Come One, Come All - Books & Bread - Wednesdays 5:30 - 6:30 pm

Study this Wednesday from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. We are reading The Book of Joy by Desmond Tutu and the Dalai Lama. This Wednesday at 5:30 p.m, we will discuss up to "Envy."
